Once there was a man who lived alone in a house that was too noisy. " The bed creaked, the roof leaked and the chair squeaked." So he went to visit a wise man and told him his problem. The wise man told him to get a cow and bring it into his house. The man thought that was a bit odd but he followed the advice and then he had a house that creaked, leaked, squeaked and mooed. You know, it could always be worse! This is the lesson that the man learns after bringing an entire menagerie into his home and putting up with a cacophony of sound. Once he gets rid of that zoo, his house seems amazingly quiet! 32 pages Ages 4-7
