The Best Teacher in Second Grade

Luna is the new kid at school but happily she has the wonderful Mr. Hopper for a teacher and he makes her feel right at home. Then, Mr. Hopper tells his class they need to come up with a special project for Family Night. Luna raises her hand and suggests a show "about the night sky." All the other kids stare at her. Every time she tries to talk about the wonder of the stars and the constellations, the other kids make her feel really small and different. She doesn't fit in. Luna begins to hate her stars-at least until Monday.
