That One Spooky Night

Kids of all ages still love “That One Spooky Night” and these three gently creepy Halloween stories make for a fun graphic novel good for elementary aged readers looking for a few chills. In the first story that gives the book its title, a girl buys a witch costume but accidentally swaps her costume broom for the real thing. That night the broom takes her on a ride to back to a real witch who makes midnight rounds delivering soup to a host of Halloween characters.

In “10,000 Tentacles Under the Tub” twin boys' rambunctious Halloween play ends when danger magically appears beneath the bubbly waters of their evening tub.

In “The Fang Gang” four friends don phony fangs and frighten friends, only to encounter vampire children who lure them into near-death fright. A quick dose of Halloween fun delivered in comic-book style.  80 pages  Ages 7 and up  978-1554537518
