Can a little boy build a house all by himself?  Yes he can and in this case he builds it by planting seeds in the ground in the shape of a big circle.  As these seeds sprout up, they grow taller and taller until he has created for himself the wonder of a house built of sturdy, wondrous sunflowers.

All summer long the boy and his friends play in the house and they even spend a warm summer night sleeping in their sunflower house.  As the seasons turn and the sunflowers fade, the boy gathers  seeds to keep.  Mother Nature shares some of the seeds with the birds and some wait on the ground to grow up again as spring comes back to us.

This is a delightful rhyming story about the cycles of nature, the wonder of nature, and the power of determination no matter what age you are.  32 pages  Ages 3-7
