This would make a great cartoon.

Sir Balin, brother of Sir Balan, lives under the shadow of a prophecy of doom. The Old Woman of the Mountain, not to be confused with the Old Man of the Meadow, has spoken and she wasn't too happy at the time. She has doomed Sir Balin to be known as the noblest knight in England, to bring misfortune on his companions, to bring down two kingdoms and shall strike the Dolorous Stroke. Whoa...who wouldn't be bummed.

Twenty years later Balin finds himself wandering alone trying not to bring about misfortune or kingdom crumbling much less any Strokes... Dolorous or otherwise. Despite his every best effort, he finds himself with too many swords, an invisible enemy, and of all things, a Questing Lady. Can he defeat his own bad luck?

With the typical tongue in cheek humor and the occasional parrying thrust at the traditional hallmarks of knighthood and nobility, our story rises and twists carrying us from one unexpected adventure to another. This is great fun!  110 pages  Ages  7-10
