It's dog-do day at the park. All the dogs in need of good grooming are coming to have their "do's" done! All sorts of dogs are lining up to be shampooed and shaved and beaded. All is going well until curiosity gets the cat and some slip in to see what's happening behind closed doors to these dogs. Well, commence the chase scene. Once everyone is rounded back up, things are a bit in disarray. The groomers go to work and if you look closely, they seem to resemble their dogs. The final product is a highly entertaining line up of dogs "done." But, there's always a cat around to lead everyone back to the mud hole. Bright pictures filled with frivolity and lots of humor waiting to explode onto the pages. Great fun for an early reader. This is a Step Into Reading book, Step 2, which is a "reading with help" book.
