Wander back into 1872, and imagine for a moment that you are an apprentice to a photographer, perhaps not such an ethical photographer. A very wealthy woman has requested that her photo be taken, so she may place it on the grave of her recently deceased daughter whose spirit seems to be restless. Happy to make some money, the photographer agrees to come to the woman's home and take the photograph, but when the photo is developed, the image of the deceased daughter has been inserted behind the woman.
