Desperate parents who are trying to find a book to capture the attention of their young reluctant beginner reader can search no more. Here is the Holy Grail of beginning readers. This series will delight the wiggliest of non-readers who is being forced to translate those squiggles on the page despite their own yearnings to be free.
This has it all. For the parents and educators kindness, sharing and friendship are woven into the dynamic plot line. Given the limited number of words, to say dynamic plot line is fairly hilarious but so is the book. The robot and his balloon are soon parted but happily for the wigglers a bee comes along at a propitious moment and causes a calamity. Hooray...add one rickety plane and a satisfying crash into a pond full of hippos and your wiggler becomes a giggler and gets the idea that maybe this reading thing has some possibilities after all. Most happily this is a series. You can assure your giggler there will be more just like this one!
