*********

Seed banks - a wonderful idea filled with hope.  In this story a young girl learns about seed banks from her friend, Old Otis, who has been sharing beautiful stories with her time after time.  Wisdom passed down from generation to generation is priceless.  The value of our natural world is priceless.  Inspiring our children to be part of small steps that can make a difference in our natural world is priceless.

This is a heartfelt story offering hope and reassurance to young folks and inviting them to join in environmental stewardship in their neighborhood.  Done gently this can open the world.  Done too harshly this can set a burden down on a young child's shoulders.  Many adults should be reading this book and incorporating seed saving in their own part of the world.
