Ralph Masiello has hit upon an effective method of breaking down his illustrations into easily followed and executed steps to ensure success for want-to-be artists. The subjects he chooses to present are attractive and desirable to imitate. He also indicates in what medium he has chosen to finish the illustration in color on a succeeding page. Included in the selection of subjects to draw are fairly simple pumpkins and ghosts progressing to a more complicated haunted house.
