This book stands out. Pure and simple this one is head and shoulders above in the teaching colors to children world. Where some books give you a spoonful of a color on a page, this one drenches you in color. With each turn of the page you get an explosion of blue or an explosion of red and so on. The child's senses really get soaked in the color - the concept that this is a color and this particular color is yellow or purple is very, very powerfully delivered. Plus this is just a joy to look at for the adult who might be the lucky one who decides to share this one with their little one. I love to give this as a gift to 2s and 3s and 4s. It's just astonishing.
