Prince of Underwhere

Oh, my. Yes it's true. The wonderful author of the Chet Gecko series has written a series for middle-reader and maybe independent-reader kids - primarily for boys, I'm guessing.

It's part standard text and part graphic novel, so it will appeal to those young readers who really want pictures even though it's a chapter book. It's just an ordinary day with Zeke being bossed around by his sister. Zeke and his friend, Hector, are doing all the hard work, until the doorbell rings, and two secret agents appear. They are secretly after the letter from Aunt Zenobia. Luckily the talking cat makes off with it, and in the mad pursuit, Zeke and Hector find themselves falling through a void to the land of Underwhere. There, everyone is wearing their underwear on the outside of their clothes. So, it's goofy and action-packed and filled with puns and bathroom humor. Know anyone who likes that kind of book? Go get him.
