Owen Foote Series: Owen Foote, Second Grade Strongman

For second graders Owen and Joseph, a dark day is looming before them. They are going to have to go with their class to the school nurse to be weighed and measured. Alone in the bedroom, Owen and Joseph share their worries over their un-Supermanlike bodies. They are skinny, little guys and they really dread the whole yelling out the height and weight thing. When the day arrives, Owen learns something about his own way of handling stress. I think plenty of young males will breathe a secret sigh of relief when they find out someone else feels exactly the way they do. The Owen Foote series continues.
