One Green Apple

A young Muslim girl, Farah, is the new girl at school. She feels so alone and so different from everyone else. Then, one day, the class goes on a field trip to an apple orchard. There she sees things and experiences things that are the same back at home. One boy belches, and she laughs.

How different are we?  How much do we have in common?  It's so easy to be scared by a difference in clothing or culture or food or language.  But when we stop to share something as simple as an apple, we might just see that none of that changes the things we truly share.
