This is a terrific book to share with a reader-in-training. National Geographic photographs create the setting for a variety of monkeys some of whom live in trees, some of whom live on the ground. Some live in open grassy places and some live in the rain forest.
Simple sentences share solid information with the young reader at the same time and an already trained reader...possibly you....can read the names of the monkeys which add a layer of authenticity and wisdom to the whole shebang.
