There is something absolutely wonderful about the friendship between a child and a dog. They see eye to eye on a lot of things.
This young fellow has a dog named Scooter. He knows his Scooter really well. He knows what Scooter liked to eat and which dogs Scooter likes to play with. He knows what Scooter looks like when he's scared.
You could pretty much say he knows his Scooter inside and out, except for one thing. He doesn't know what Scooter dreams about.
