Moongobble and Me, Book 1: The Dragon of Doom

Edward's life takes a total turn for the more exciting when Moongobble, the not-so-good magician, comes to his village with his talking toad, Urk. Moongobble is new to magic and therefore makes a lot of mistakes -- like turning most things into cheese and making a broom run from the room screaming "Mommy, Mommy!" and instead of calling a wind to blow the dust out of the room, he makes the room smell like a fart. Edward helps Moongobble with all these things as well as finding things for Moongobbles spells. After Moongobble fails to impress Fazwad, the head of the Society of Magicians, with his lack of magical abilities he is given one last chance by Fazwad to become a magician. Fazwad wants Moongobble to get him the Golden Acorns of Alcoona, which are guarded by a deadly dragon. Will Moongobble, Edward, Urk and Rusty Knight be able to get the acorns? Will Fazwad allow Moongobble to be a magician? Will Edward lose his new, special friends? 80 pages Ages 6-9
