As dawn breaks over the nest, the four little birds awaken and greet the new day with a song, "Tweet, " "Tweet, " "Tweet," "Moo." Moo????
The fourth little bird as we shall call her/him, can't seem to get with it. Each time the birds strike a chorus of tweets there is that one doggone Moo that cannot be overcome. Bird Four is asked to leave.
So the Quest begins. Can Bird Four find his/her flock? Does she/he belong...somewhere..to someone? The farm holds many possibilities and she/he Moos at all of them. Where can a Bird with a Moo find a friend?
Quirky illustrations and a sense that something really, really good is about to come with a turn of the page makes this one awesome book. Hilarious!
You just might find some of your most reluctant early readers saying, "If this is reading, give me more!" Bravo!
