This is a unique story for young children to explore. They will get involved in the animals’ hike, but will also learn many interesting facts along the way. The author uses humor and dialogue between the animals to hook the readers to follow them on their hike to the High Hill Observatory. Although the animals are rewarded at the end of their hike by an unexpected weather phenomenon, readers are also rewarded with all of the cool facts they will learn along the way.
