**************

June and her dog, Sammy, are best friends.  Sammy is a fun and funny friend to have.  Sometimes when Sammy wags his tail, his whole bottom shakes and he knocks things off the table.  June loves Sammy all the time and she and Sammy have a secret.  June can understand Sammy when he talks to her.  Yep, he talks.

A new family is moving in across the street from June's house.  June and Sammy have been spying on the house and they've seen a girl moving in who looks like she is about June's age.  Could she be a new friend for June?  June and Sammy agree that a really good friend has to have the three Fs:  She has to be FUN, FRIENDLY and FULL OF ADVENTURE.

At June's house a huge box arrives.  It's a present for June from Grandma Penny.  If it's from Grandma Penny it could be anything.  When June opens the box, she finds an amazing gift that shows you how to wonder and explore and discover "how little things can change your life."

Spunky. Fun. Authentic characters make this a story readers will find satisfying.
