Wait , wait...I have to get my tissue again...this book is Soooooooooooooo wonderful!Meet monster... he is simply not cuddly. Not a cuddly molecule on the old bod..anywhere.  Living in a world of cuddly kittens and puppies... surrounded by cuddlies....and he is a non-cuddly person.  Oh dear.So our hero ...valiant fellow that he is... and a being with a heart you see... goes in search of someone who could love him.  Oh my.  He searches high and low...literally.  It makes you laugh while you are hoping..oh so hoping that there really will be someone out there who can truly see him and "get" him and give him that greatest gift of all...the one we all are hoping to find.My heart went searching right along with him.  Is there someone out there? Is he really so different? The lovable monster in all of us turns these pages with the eyes of a child giggling a bit and loving the journey.. it's poignant but it's also brilliantly delivered so that you WANT to know what is going to happen, you care deeply for this little guy, and you recognize the journey as one you know so, so well.Happy ending?  You'll have to read it.  She does it with such a light touch and her timing, her timing is genius. (and she is a printmaker and the prints that bring this story to life have just the right thickness and weight to them to balance the feelings of the text.  Perfect proportions.  She really nailed it.)
