A huge lion walks into the library one day. When the children ask if he can stay, Miss Meriweather, the librarian, says that a quiet lion is welcome. The big cat loves story time, and is very helpful--he dusts shelves, licks stamps, and lets children stand on his back to reach high bookshelves. But one day, Miss Meriweather is hurt, and the lion is the only one who can help her--even if he must break the rules.
