Into the Trap

Eddie is the son of a lobsterman. His family has been trapping lobsters in a small Massachusetts community for generations. Lately, someone has been stealing lobsters from traps, and by accident, Eddie finds the thieves hiding places for their "loot." With the help of a runaway camper from the local sailing camp, the boys set out to capture the thieves.   Readers who may not know much about lobster trapping and the importance of that industry to the East coast, will be captivated by the boat chases, and Eddie’s plight to capture the bad guys. This book is suspenseful, and the action moves along quickly, keeping the pages turning! Since the story moves quickly, and immediately jumps into action, it is a perfect pick for a reluctant reader because they won’t stop until they, right along with Eddie have captured the crooks!  208 pages
