“I’m so BORED!” crows the little girl who stars in this book. She is so bored, in fact, that she can’t possibly think of anything better to do than mope around feeling sorry for herself.

In a clever twist, though, our bored heroine happens upon an equally bored potato. Very quickly, the tables are turned as the girl forgets all about her dreadful boredom in a quest to prove to the potato that kids are fun and interesting and capable of doing all sorts of non-boring things. Inevitably, she manages to have a bit of fun along the way.

Actor Michael Ian Black’s silly tongue-in-cheek tale is complemented by fun sketches that serve the story well. Kids will like the sing-songy style of storytelling and will certainly relate to the main character. After all, who hasn’t felt a bit bored from time to time? Hopefully this book will be a good cure for the boredom blues the next time they strike!   40 pages.  Ages 3-7  978-1442414037
