***********

Sophie is the oldest of her three sisters and is a great reader.  From her books she realizes life can be filled with amazing adventures none of which she ever expects to come her way.  Instead she spends her days making hats.  That is until the wicked Witch of the Waste loses her temper and casts a spell dooming Sophie to spend her life as an old woman.  What's a girl to do?

Sophie finds herself seeking a way out and moves in to the castle of the wizard named Howl.  Howl has been cursed himself.  He and his house are perpetually on the move lifting up and dropping down in a new spot and turned in an entirely new direction.  Howl needs to find a very special girl.

Filled with fun, fantasy, adventure, humor and a beautifully crafted puzzle, this is an excellent choice for children with vivid imaginations who want to see another brilliant mind concocting a new frontier of possibilities.
