With danger at every turn, it will take courage, teamwork, and a little help from creatures of the rain forest to keep the Silver Jaguar Society’s treasured Jaguar Cup from falling into the wrong hands.
José, Anna, and Henry are back after having solved the theft of the original star-spangled banner in Capture the Flag. The junior members of the secret Silver jaguar Society have been invited to a special preview of pre-Columbian artifacts in Washington, D.C., after being privately recognized by the White House for their role in the return of the original flag. Unfortunately, the one item they want most to see in the exhibit has been stolen, a silver jaguar cup, especially meaningful to the members of the Jaguar Society. The kids, along with Henry’s aunt and José’s parents and Anna’s mother fly to San José, Costa Rica, to investigate. While staying with friends of José’s parents, the kids have some investigative plans of their own. With their host’s daughter as their guide, they explore the rain forest and the local cultural center to narrow down where they think the missing cup may have gone. Little do they know, real danger from the Serpentine Princes, a group of thieves, is lurking right at the resort where they are staying. Can they prevent the Jaguar Cup from falling into the wrong hands?
