Meet Gully, a Lhasa apso, who lives on the Upper East Side (if you know what I mean, dahling) with his traveling companion, Professor Rattigan. They live an upscale, cultured life and are devoted to each other. Well, maybe that devotion is a bit lopsided, because when Professor Rattigan finds true love in Paris and proposes to the woman of his dreams, it turns out she's allergic to dogs, and that means Gully is ' bye-bye.' One day he's on the Upper East Side, and the next day he's moving in with the doorman and his family in Queens. Gully is certain he's been kidnapped and decides to escape. Life being the interesting journey that it is, Gully embarks on a great adventure followed by a great revelation. Just what makes someone a good friend?
