Drew Lawson has a future, and that future is in basketball. He's determined to be spotted by college scouts, and he knows just how he's going to make that happen, but his "schooling" isn't over yet. The team coach, House, has a few things to teach him about being part of a team, and his neighborhood - that tough, tough world he lives in - is going to test his hopes and his determination and will bring home to him how many people around him have given up the dream.

I love the title of this book which mirrors the game of life and the truth that some people are playing their game on you and it's up to you to figure that out and make some choices about the rules.
