Froggy Gets Dressed

Oh, Wow! Froggy wakes up on a cold winter morning when frogs should be sleeping and decides he's going to go out to play in the snow! He gets dressed in all the important things: socks, boots, hat, scarf, mittens and out he goes FLOP, FLOP, FLOP! Suddenly, he hears, FRROOGGYY! It's his mother calling him. "Wha-a-a-a-a-t?" "Did you forget to put something on?" And so it goes as the forgetful Froggy goes back in to the house to take off all the layers and add the missing item. Back into the snow and then his mother's voice reaches him again. Oh dear. This frog is back and forth and back and forth adding things -the best one is his underwear- until he is just plain old exhausted. This is a GREAT read aloud.
