This book is about a pony who is not beautiful. But he is gentle and kind. All he wants it to live inside a walled city that only allows in beautiful horses. One day there is an emergency and Fritz does something very brave that changes the minds of the people. My favorite part was when Fritz's dream comes true and some children ride on him. I was happy for Fritz! I recommend this book to anyone who likes horses. Jan Brett does beautiful detailed illustrations of horses that you would love! Enjoy reading about how it doesn't matter how you look, but how you act!
