So, what can an author do these days to write an early reader book about sports and make it something new?
Well, you can write a story about a fox who is ready for action. We're talkin' suited up and ready to win. The trouble is elephant, rabbit and bear are also suited up and ready to win... oh, excuse me snail. Snail is also ... well, maybe not suited up .. but certainly ready to win.
Let the game begin. Penguin blows the whistle. Elephant kicks the football and ... and... and... boy, did Elephant ever kick that ball. The chase is on.
This is just hilarious and the comedic timing is priceless.
Another great addition to an already great series for early readers. You'll read it again and again just to entertain yourself!
