Marcus Primus' father has been murdered and he and his mother are enslaved to merciless merchant. Marcus is sent to a school to learn to become a gladiator where he will provide bloody entertainment for the masses at the Arena. He hopes with success here, he will be able to secure his mother's release and his own freedom. Very good action scenes brutal however. Ages 10 and up
