While picking a bouquet of wildflowers for her beloved teacher, Mrs. Glass’ surprise party, Nancy inadvertently contracts poison ivy. But there’s nothing fancy about itchy red spots and Nancy is miserable. (Which is a fancy word for “unhappy.”) But, with the gift of a special cream and a little trip to the library, Nancy soon feels better... and becomes the poison ivy expert she claimed to be. Cute and funny, with Nancy’s usual aplomb, Nancy ends up making her readers mini-poison ivy experts by the end of the book.
