Nancy loves butterflies. That is why she is excited about her friend Bree’s butterfly- themed birthday party. But when she discovers that her grandparents’ fiftieth anniversary is the same day, she is heartbroken and angry that she will miss it. Surprisingly, Nancy has a wonderful time and even forgets to be furious (which is a fancy word for “angry”). Plus, she gets to go to a butterfly garden. Lovely pictures and lively characters make this book a nice read-aloud. Recommended by Jamequa Summerall, Librarian.
