Seventeen year-old Luke escapes his alcoholic father to live in a trailer in Arizona. Nineteen year-old Ava feels abandoned by her parents and escapes her isolation by drinking. Luke and Ava cross paths when Ava attends AA meetings and befriends Luke’s father, Frank. Serious issues for more mature readers:adult situations, drinking, language, etc.
