You know sometimes we hold our grief way, way down inside of us. We might not even know it's there. It's just waiting.... and sometimes it comes charging out and we feel so, so sad.
This valiant adventurer is heading alone into the forest armed with his sword. There are scary moments but he is not going to stop. He is going to find the answer to his question.
Sometimes moms die. They die before we stop needing them and they die before we are anywhere close to letting them go. Sometimes we wonder if we had anything to do with them leaving us.
This little guy has a big question to ask his mom but she has passed away.
This is a courageous journey and eventually we all will need to make it though for some of us we will be a lot farther along in life than this young warrior.
This is absolutely heart-stoppping.
If you have a child who is grieving, this book may help with a question they don't even know they are holding inside waiting for an answer.
