Poor Wiglaf. He is really mistreated at home by his entire family. So, when the opportunity to get out into the world comes along in the form of a chance to go to the Dragon Slayers' Academy, Wiglaf rises to the challenge. Actually, though, things don't seem all that much better at school. Wiglaf is still being picked on and now he's being sent out to slay the nearest dragon. His magic sword is failing so he falls back on some jokes that are guaranteed to slay you. This is a light, goofy series that is great for reluctant readers.
