Double Dutch

Delia can't read and she's made it all the way to the sixth grade. No one knows not even her parents and she's too embarrassed to tell. But now the standardized testing is coming up and if she doesn't score well enough on it, she won't be able to compete on the jumprope team. Meanwhile, Randy, also a sixth grader, is going home to an empty house. His truck driver father left for a trip and never came back. Food and money are running low. How can Randy survive alone?
