This is such a great read aloud for story time. Mom has baked some delicious cookies and the family is all set to start enjoying that yumminess. Then, the doorbell rings and it rings and it rings again as friends and neighbors drop by to say hello. With each ring of the bell the amount of cookies for the kids to eat shrinks. The fun of the story is figuring out how you can divide the number of cookies to be sure there a cookie for every mouth and every tummy! Make a felt board out of it and the kids can see the cookies and watch them get divided up! Great fun!
