Noa is a teen runaway from the foster care system. Finally deciding it was easier to live and survive on her own she created a fictitious family and found a job as a freelance computer security specialist. Of course it helps that Noa is an expert computer hacker. Then one day Noa wakes up on an operating table with no memory of how she got there. Knowing that the people around her are not telling the truth she escapes and is now on the run without any way to access her money.

Then we have Peter a rich kid who seems to have it all. He started a computer hacktivist group called Alliance. One night while he was hacking into his father computer system he finds files that seem to be very suspicious and then suddenly his front door is knocked down and two men burst through. They take his computer and leave a warning for his parents. Noa needs money and Peter has it, Peter needs help hacking and Noa can do it.

Finding each other through Alliance they find a way to meet in person. As both teens start to uncover a frightening conspiracy of human experimentation they find themselves on the run. But the deeper they dig they find that Noa might be involved somehow. A great fast paced action filled book. #1 of a trilogy. 310 pages                ISBN:9780062102904               Ages 12 and up
