This is a book for two voices which makes it a perfect first reader for beginners. They get to snuggle next to their grown up who reads the left hand pages. Then the beginning reader tackles the right hand pages. It's a fun story about a dog named Pip who does not yip or yap as he sets out on a day of adventure with his friend, Jock. It's a fun-filled day with a ride in a van, a trip to the park, a messy puddle and a comfy bed waiting at the end. Cartoonish drawings add a sense of fun and a bit of comic relief to the entire learning to read adventure. 32 pages Usborne Very First Reading: Book 4 Ages 4-7
