Defiance: Resistance Book Two

An exciting graphic novel about a 14 year old boy and his two sisters gives a taste of the drama and courage of the French Resistance to Nazi occupation in World War II. As the youngest member of their village resistance network, Paul can generally slip past the Nazis on his dangerous errands as a courier while his older sister plays at the dangerous game of befriending the enemy soldiers to elicit information helpful to the Resistance. Quick thinking , daring and a little luck are needed to stay ahead of the Nazis...in this second of a planned trilogy. Well drawn and written, this is a great read and fine addition to library collections.
