Daisy Dawson is a dawdler. She just can't help it. There are so many wondrous things to stop and see on the way to school. One day, as she's dawdling along, she has a "brush" with a butterfly, and suddenly she can talk to animals. Yep, she can understand them, and they can understand her. Imagine how she feels when the saggy, baggy old bloodhound, Boom, strikes up a conversation with her.
