Kerry never would have expected an act of kindness to her brother would have gotten her in the middle of a planned execution. However, that is exactly what she gets when she makes a late-night trip back to the laundromat where her little brother left his favorite stuffed toy. She is shocked when a group of men bring in a boy who is only a little older than she and learns they plan to kill him at dawn. The reason they want to kill him is unbelievable – they believe he’s a vampire. They are obviously crazy to believe in vampires, aren’t they?
