Most of us have something about ourselves that we wish would go away. It's something that always seems to cause us a problem. For Nipper the crab that something is his set of great big claws. Oh, why can't he be like Octopus or Jellyfish or Turtle? They have 'flippety fins' and 'tickly tentacles.' These claws spoil all his fun. When he plays catch the bubble, he pops it. When he plays tag, his claws trip him up. 'If I didn't have these clumsy claws, I wouldn't break everything and I'd be good at hide-and-seek,' says Nipper. But life takes interesting turns and Nipper is about to find out that only he has those special claws that can save his friend Octopus when he's tangled in the seaweek.
