What a dream for every child! You get to give the orders to your parents! The child is trying to put her mother to bed. The mother uses various stall tactics such as asking for "five more minutes", extra book reading, a glass of water request and leaving the door open. The mother also has several bedtime jobs to do such as bath time, brushing teeth and selection of tomorrow's clothes. The final problem the child must handle in this role reversal story is putting her father to bed, too. In her dream the sleeping child is content to imagine these parental activities. 32 pages Ages 3-7
