Bad Kitty lives a charmed life. There is always plenty of food in Bad Kitty's food bowl and there is always plenty of food in Puppy's bowl which Bad Kitty likes to eat first. There are people to do Bad Kitty's bidding. There is Puppy to chase and scare day in and day out. Life is grand.
Until the day when Bad Kitty isn't eating. Nope. All the food in Puppy's bowl is still sitting there. All the food in Bad Kitty's bowl is still sitting there. Looks like they'll have to make a trip to the vet so Bad Kitty can get better.
So, the fun begins as the narrator describes all the steps involved in trying to get Bad Kitty into a cat carrier to ride over to see the vet. It isn't pretty. It isn't easy. It is hilarious. It involves tongs and bribes and even maybe sending the valiant Puppy into the cat carrier first...as bait.
One of the fun features of this Bad Kitty story is watching as Bad Kitty gets a shot, falls asleep and dreams of going to Cat Heaven where the head cat judges the lives of cats before deciding where to send them for their long rest.
Bad Kitty gets a look at what her future holds....not good. This is not in Bad Kitty's plan. Can she reform? Will this dream change Bad Kitty? Can Bad Kitty do something nice for Puppy when Bad Kitty gets home from the vet? Turns out Bad Kitty's greatest enemy may be herself!
Hilarious. Action-packed. Plenty of illustrations to make the book fly by. Short patches of non-fiction information about cat care are interspersed with the antics...kind of like commercial breaks. You can skip over them if you don't need to know.
