Alice-Miranda at School

Alice-Miranda at School

Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones can’t wait to start boarding school, even though she is only seven and one quarter years old.  When she arrives early at her new school, she has a feeling that all is not quite right, so she sets about to fix things bringing along her own sunny personality and her belief that kindness can conquer anything, including temper tantrums.  From the Cook, to the gardener, some classmates and even the headmistress, Miss Grimm herself, no one is unaffected by Alice-Miranda. The fairly short chapters outline Alice-Miranda’s first three weeks at boarding school and how she handles the challenges that come her way.

248 pages with a list of characters and a recipe for Nana Jones’ Apple Pie.
