Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret

Eleven-year-old Margaret Simon’s life is full of unwanted changes, as well as changes she wishes for as she grows up.Not only has Margaret moved to a new state and is attending public school for the first time, but her new friends seem really mature. She’s confused by her feelings about boys and worried that she’s not as physically developed as the other girls around her. Additionally, her parents have left her to make up her own mind about choosing a religion, but her secret daily talks to God haven’t helped her decide. As Margaret discovers, growing up can be awfully bewildering. This is a timeless novel that girls can still relate to, as they have for many years. Ages 9-13

Are You There God It’s Me Margaret is about this girl named Margaret who just moved from the city to the suburbs. She meets some girls and joins their club. They have boy books and talk about other things.

Girls would like this book because it is really interesting. I recommend this book to girls 10-13 years old. This will be a book to remember your whole life.
