Standing For Socks

Eleven-year-old Fara Ross has always wanted to make a difference, but she never guessed her big break would come the morning she puts on mismatched socks by accident. Her socks become a statement of individuality, and her fame grows until the entire town of Stockville rallies behind her freedom of footwear campaign. But Fara has bigger goals—goals she can only accomplish as sixth grade class president—and socks seem to do nothing but get in the way. She knows she can make a real difference…if only she can get people to see beyond her feet.
